Photographer's Note

The New Town Hall of Munich was erected between 1867 and 1874. The almost 100-meter-long main facade on Marienplatz is not easy to capture from the square. The facade is richly ornamented in neo-gothic style, in the tower balcony of the Town Hall you can see the world famous Glockenspiel (a clock with moving figures and an automatic musical instrument), the tourist attraction re-enacts two stories from the 16th century, it consists of 43 bells and 32 life-sized figures.
