Autumn mood in the Danube valley Photo

Photographer’s Note

English:

Once again a horizontal view into the valley. On the left we can see the autumn tinted diagonal and behind it the sun light draw bright patterns in the mist. In the distance we can see the buildings of "Castle Werenwag". I had to hold the graduated filter with my hand, because I've used the lense hood at the same time to avoid the strong side light. Nevertheless, I am very pleased with the effect of the graduated filter. To demonstrate the effect of this filter I have posted two other identically illuminated photos to the workshop. One with the filter and one without it. To be continued ...

Hier nun wieder ein horizontaler Blick in das Tal. Links im Bild die herbstgefärbte Diagonale und weiter hinten zeichnet die Sonne helle Muster in den Nebel. In der Ferne sieht man wieder die Häuser von "Schloss Werenwag". Den Verlaufsfilter musste ich mit der Hand hinhalten, weil ich wegen dem starken Seitenlicht die Gegenlichtblende benutzt habe. Trotzdem bin ich mit dem Effekt sehr zufrieden. Um den Effekt anhand von zweier identisch belichteter Aufnahmen zu demonstrieren, habe ich zwei weitere Fotos in den Workshop gestellt. Excellent point of view , great light and marvelous mist efffect. The colors in the autumn mood are wonderfull in the foreground, the details and the sharpness are good too.

This is a fine shot of this autumn colored mountainside with the fog shrouded valley to it's right. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has nice sharpness and DOF.

Hello Helmut,

Another view in your interesting serie, another very good and very nice photowork. The nice autumn's colors in the Fg arise very well in this landscape covered of fog. I like too the depht and the propsect to the village at the top in the BG.

Hallo Helmut,

danke für die ausführliche Aufklärung, auch anhand deiner Workshop-Aufnahmen, ist schon extrem zu sehen welche Unterschiede mit den Filtern zu bewerkstelligen sind..
schöne, noch herbstlich geprägte Aufnahme mit tollen Farben.. (fehlt jetzt nur noch die Winterserie..mit Schnee!)

A truly amazing picture. The clouds and rock formations create a great, almost mythical atmosphere. A fantastic scene that has been very well capture by you.
