Photographer's Note

A short visit at Haus Kemnade, a moated castle in Ruhr valley not far from Witten.
The curious name is derived from German Kemenate = women's chamber or bower, which was the only heated room inside a medieval castle and therefore reserved for women and young children. Contemporarians must have considered the fact as remarkable that such a luxury had been provided!
Clouds were just about to open for the only sunny spell of that day.
