Reichstag
The German parliament building was completed in 1894 and was characterized by a dome of steel and glass. The palace was burnt down in 1933 and further damaged by air raids during the Second World War.
It was rebuilt from 1961 to 1964, restored and modified further in the 90s, is now the seat of the parliament of the united Germany.
