Photographer's Note

The MAMAC (Musée d’Art moderne et d’Art contemporain) is a museum of modern and contemporary art in Nice. It is suitably located on the Place Yves Klein.

The museum, opened in 1990, is housed in a Postmodern building, designed by French architects Yves Bayard and Henri Vidal.

The vast permanent collection of the museum encompasses mostly post-war works by French and international artists, with a special attention to Pop Art and New Realism. Star of the show here is Nice native Yves Klein (1928-1962).

THIS PICTURE shows the central stairs in the MAMAC. A bit dark and eerie.
