Photographer's Note

I was in Rennes for a few hours saturday evening so I made a few picture in the city centre. So here is Rennes opera facing the town house. It was designed by Charles Millardet and built by Pierre Louise from 1832 to 1836. It has a 642 seats italian style room, which makes it one of the smallest in France. Its program is mainly focused on lyric art. It is filed on historical monuments list since 1965 and it was restored in 1997 and 1998.

The sun was down when I took this picture freehand. So I had to choose a wide aperture and a high ISO level. So there is some noise visible on the large version.
