Photographer's Note

Merrien river is one of the three rias that flow to the coasts of Moëlan-sur-Mer (the others are Brigneau river and Belon river). The left bank of the river hosts some oyster farms and a small port, with fishing and sailing boats. The right bank is more woody and wild. It hosts a wonderful coastal footpath that goes from Brigneau to the back of Merrien river, one I strongly recommand. I am not forbear from stitching as other TE members, so the landscape format was just obtained by reframing a 10x15 picture. I hesitated with another picture of the same place I show in workshop, with a better light and nicer colours, but I think the composition is better with this one.
