Photographer's Note

Good Morning Friends,

Laniscat is a pretty little village in Brittany. At its centre is this lovely building, the church of St. Gildas.

The church was built in the 16th century and has had various modifications since then. The north and south aisle and porch are from 1691 whilst the west porch was 1725 to 1751.

I waited to photograph it when the sun was low in the evening sky, so that the imposing church tower would gain benefit from the light.

I hope you like the photograph and thank you for your interest, Bev :-)
