Photographer's Note

I walked around the medieval Chateau at Fougeres in light rain, resulting in the appalling sky. It was a frontier defense for the Duchy of Brittany.
The walls wander around the contours of the land joining the 13 towers. The view is of a muddle of buildings but it was late afternoon and to late to go in.
The location is quiet unusual being below the more modern part of town.
