Photographer's Note

Trekkers know what that's mount of rocks means but for those who don't => it aims at showing the way to other future trekkers. It's done by the trekkers themselfs, rock by rock and is often initiated by "forest guardians" who maintain the paths in good conditions all year long.
This one is in fact the last one of the trek we've done that day at the top of the Arpiha ridge.
We started the trail at Turini pass with a so-so weather...getting to the ridge, here is the weather we got...of course the view was very nice but the blowing wind and the lightning & craches we were seeing coming just urge us to get back asap to the car. Which we did actually pretty fast but under the falling rain...
This trek is considered as "easy" in the local trek guides called "randoxygene" (freely distributed in tourism offices of the alpes maritimes). Though the last part to reach the ridge is a very hard pass which forces you to climb in sometimes. It's proposed as optional in the guide. I advise you not to do it if you're with people who are not in conditions to do such exercise.
