Photographer's Note
During this walk between Serres and Sigottier (including the GR94), we pass through varied landscapes. After the peaks above Serres, the forest and its waterlogged track after the storm the day before, after the Sigottier rocks(see previous photo), the rocks exposed under hard sun, after the green pastures of La Montagne ... black marls or badlands, otherwise known as "roubines " in a more local term. A typical landscape of the Southern Alps and so fascinating. The track had disappeared in some places, swept away by the storm, we had some fears about the stability in these small hills. No problems with good shoes. The same passage has been very enjoyable, we felt like walking on a carpet of moss!

Bonsoir Delphine,

Hello Delphine,
I did not know that this landscape existed in the South of France. I enjoyed reading your note. The picture is excellent as I do like the green against the grey rock. The perspective is also very good - an excellent composition.

Bonjour Delphine,
Daniel.
