Photographer's Note
While trekking last month on the GR4, which goes from Entrevaux up to Sisteron through verdon's gorges, I fall on this landscape. This is the first time I see the gorge from the beggining. On left of the pictures stands the village of Rougon, which is dominated with a ruin of a former castle.
On the right of the picture stand the gorges and the famous Samson corridor. I tried to have this picture without the electrical cables but it was not the same perspective. Too bad... Hopefully they are quite thin, so...

Bonjour Guillaume, bien beau paysage effectivement, avec un bon rendu des couleurs ... mais ces cables au milieu c'est vraiment dommage.

Very dramatic powerful scene, even with the powerlines. The gorges look to be carved out of rock, the green hillsides a nice compliment. The house roofs really add perspective to the view. Well done.
