Here is another view of Mons, this time there is a little bit more clouds..

Mons in Provence is located at 825 meters and 14 km of Fayence. It is an extremely picturesque and very exposed village with the winds. The village is on a plate located at the foot of the mountain of Brouis. Place Saint-Sebastien, you can discover: Chains of Estérel and Moors, vast plains of Frejus, islands of Lérins, and even Corsica.

The village undoubtedly dates from XIe century. It depended on the Count de Provence. Mons was devastated by the plague into 1348/1380, and was repopulated by Génois. (lei figoun builders of the faisso or restanques). In 1580, the Henri lord of Villeneuve is driven out by Monsois which destroyed its castle. In 1590 the villagers oppose to the Duke of Savoy then combined of Henri says "the Cruel one";
