Here's my first try in black and white, continuing my visite of La Napoule's medieval castel (see my first post.)

This 8th-century fortress destroyed and rebuilt three times since 1400 was purchased in 1919 by an American sculptor named Henry Clews.it is now a foundation for artists.

i turned the original pic into grey scales using PS elmtn 2, then back to RVB in order to do a sepia effect by using colors variation (more red and less blue in shadows and medium level).
then increased contrast and applied sharpness.
