Photographer's Note

Shot taken while paragliding tendem. Gourdon sits 758m high on a rock cliff overlooking the valley and the sea. The Loup river is 500m down below. The chateau was originally build as a Saracen fortress in the 9th century but also served as a French outpost against other foreign & internal enemies throughout French history. At the end of the first world war the chateau became the property of an American lady. The German army occupied & used Gourdon as an observation post during the second world. Gourdon was opened to the public in 1950 & was declared a historical building in 1971.It is 40 km from Nice & 14 km from Grasse.

RP to replace my first post to TE before I knew anything about post processing.
