Photographer's Note

This is the tiny mediathèque (kind of library where one can borrow books but also cds or dvds) up on the perched village of Chateauneuf de Grasse (417 meters of height).
As most of the old villages of the area, it is composed of narrow and winding streets, typical housing of the XVIth century made of stones, and counts few inhabitants (about 3000p).
From up here there is a great panoramic view upon Opio valley and up to Cannes bay. The road to get to the top is one of the steepest (15%) and longest (~1km) in the area. And guess what, I came here by bike! :)
