Photographer's Note

The last five years there have been a Sand Sculpture Festival on the Island Rømø (at the South West corner of Denmark) – Normally is a group of artist invited and have “free-hands” to make the art, but this year was different.

To celebrate the 200-year birthday of H.C.Andersen should their works be inspired by a fairytale. The weather wasn’t the best but ever now and then sun gave a beam to the 12 sculptures and the giant wall of art.

I like this special version of the little version of the “little” mermaid and may be will I post the unzipped version, along with other of the fine works :-)

Please watch this close-up photo as well – or visit the homepage of this event.
