Photographer's Note

CCathedral of St. Vitus, St. Wenceslas and St. Adalbert.
The Gothic cathedral, the spiritual symbol of the Czech state, was founded in 1344 in place of a Romanesque roundabout. The construction works lasted almost 600 years and were finally completed only in 1929. In its impressive interior is located, among other things, the chapel of St. Wenceslas with the tomb of the saint, beautifully decorated with paintings and semiprecious stones; in the underground, instead, are the tombs of the Bohemian kings and the Chamber of the Crown, where the jewels of the Crown are kept.
