Photographer's Note

One in a series of pictures taken on a visit to Prague in October 2002.

There has been so much written about Prague here on TE and elsewhere that I do not intend to add to it. Those who are interested may visit this link, which relates to a Wikipedea article on the history of the city.

For the last picture in this series I present a view of the buildings clustered round the Old Town end of the Charles Bridge. I like the way the light brings out the tones in the façades and the mix of different architectural styles, which blend so well together. I'm afraid that I do not know the names of these different buildings except for the one in the foreground next the riverside, which is the Bedřich Smetana Museum, and is dedicated to the life of this famous Czech composer.

I hope you like this postcard from Prague and have enjoyed all the photos from this series as much as I enjoyed taking them in this wonderful city.
