Photographer's Note

The Neretva river (225 km long) flows through Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia and empties into the Adriatic Sea forming the beautiful delta. The Neretva delta is an unique landscape, drained by a system of canals which bound a patchwork of gardens and orchards. In this region are grown oranges, lemons, tangerines, olives and watermelons, and eels can be fished in the canals.

Many towns around the Neretva delta offer a boat trip on the canals, my afternoon tour ended at dusk, and in the evening eel dinner :)
