Damme Siphon

The Siphon is a hamlet in the municipality of Damme on the place where the Damse Vaart is crossed by two parallel channels: the Schipdonk Canal and the Leopold Canal. It is named after the hydraulic engineering work that functioned there until the First World War: the siphons.
