Bruges a walk through the city with camera in hand
2019 Saturday afternoon, a pity no sun.

Saturday in Bruges with waiting carriages and many tourists walking across the market square.
The Markt, sometimes also called "Grote Markt", is a market square in Bruges. The Markt is located in the heart of the historic city center and has an area of approximately 1 ha. On the south side of the square is one of the most famous monuments of the city, the 12th-century belfry.
Since 958, Grote Markt has played a central role in daily life in Bruges. The Market was once busy with market people selling their wares to people, but today it is primarily a tourism center. Take a moment to enjoy the restaurants, cafés, gift shops, tours and enchanting architecture of this bustling part of Bruges.
Although it is only 1 hectare in size, there is much to see on the Grote Markt in Bruges. The photo shows a small part of the beautiful belfry.

I hope that you enjoy it
