I took these fisher boat with a 100-400mm lens during a stroll on the beach in Ostend.

Ostend has always been a haven for fishing boats, merchant ships, transport boats, boats times, etc. From Ostend ships sailed to England, Scotland, France, Netherlands, but also China, India, Africa, South America, etc. to fish, to trade, to travel, emigration, etc. During the siege of Ostend was supplied by sea, many fled during the war Oostende nasty sea. In the free time played a large part of the life of the Ostend collectors place on or near the water. Boats and ships always played a very important role in Ostend.
