Photographer's Note

Built high up on a hillside on the southern eastern side of Nevis, this 18th century sugar plantation is named "Golden Rock" since at sunset the mountain side glows a beautiful golden colour.

This 96 acre estate has been beautifully restored and is now an exclusive inn. Even if you are not a guest there you are welcome to walk around the grounds, and it is probably the best place on the island to grab a spot of lunch, which is reasonably priced.
