Photographer's Note
This is a bar in the old part of the city. It looks like a ruin but it is being used as a bar and restaurant. The place is crowded and popular. I did not dare get inside as the crowd looks rowdy. Even in this rundown building the doors and window boards are all painted in bright colors. Unfortunately I missed a large part of the yellow door on the right.

Hi Andre,
Yes it looks like a ruin, but it is named "The Ruins" so at least they are conscious of the fact ;-)
You did not dare go inside but you did dare take a photo and it was a good thing for us. I like the red "door" on the left and all the signs, and also the small statue next to the green shutter. Thank you for sharing.
Pascal.

The inside of the bar could have been more "colourful" than the outside. Based on the signs, the owners abviously are courting an international clientel. In regards to the shot, it is busy, but interesting. I would have waited a second longer so the person on the far right would have moved out of the frame. Thanks for sharing. Patrick

Hi Andre
a slow drifting apart of tendences are seen, one that focus totaly on techniques and other on learning
about the world, yours falls under the second category.
As the first suffers easily of a lacune of the second and vica versa, a balance is the ultimate target.
Your shot has all the info and story missing a tiny bit of structured technique to find this enhancing balance.
The finishing technique of the dark room simulation is perfect here in color/contrast balance, no cast and sharpness pico bello. So I suppose this fine shot will be looked at from the two categories in a differant way but the perfect finishing and learning factor are two indisputable qualities that I like and appreciate here in the light of trekking.
Warm greetings
Henk
