Photographer's Note

On our way to the Lamanai ruins in Belize, we took a boat ride on the New River, where we met this cute little guy. (I think it may be a girl, though) It is a Spidermonkey. They came really close, and wanted our bananas. But I guess they're used to tourists and know they'll get food from them, which is sad, because it's not their natural way of living. So tourists feed them so they can get pictures of them. But they forget that they're still wild animals, and that the monkeys can get agressive. A man on our boat tried to hide some of the bananas, and the monkey almost bit him.
