Photographer's Note

Mir-i Arab Madrasah is a building of the 16th century. It was built during the rule of the Shaybanid dynasty. Nowadays it is the only still working madrasah of Bukhara.
Although the evening sun is in my back, the tiles of the facada create a contre-jour effect.
