Photographer's Note

In the northern winter, the temperature this morning is -14C. What better excuse than this for uploading a couple of flower photos from Thailand? The long, down petal is a landing-strip for insects who in the normal course of activity spread pollen. I believe the word is labellum. This flower was photographed on the journey southwest from Bangkok to visit the floating markets.
