Photographer's Note

The idyllic beach of Haeundae in Busan is a place for sunbathing, swimming or just a walk along the beach as I did. At the end of the beach is a small promontory on which Dongbeak Park was located, surrounded by a stony coast. From this park there is a view of Gwangandaegyo suspension bridge and high-rise buildings on the opposite side. The road surface is about 6,500 meters long, with the bridge as a whole spanning 7,420 meters. At night some 16,000 LED illuminate the bridge and the Busan Fireworks Festival is held at the bridge every October. It is the second longest bridge in the country after the Incheon Bridge in Incheon near Seoul.
