Photographer's Note

When I read on Forum that Jaason plans a visit in Perm to meet Serghei, I thought, well, I could go there too. The idea seemed to me crazy but I am rather crazy traveller. So I wrote to Jason and Serghei and there were kind to invite me to joined them. Aft first it seemed to me difficult to manage but I realized that it is splendid opportunity for me to see some places I have been dreaming for many years - Baikal Lake and transsiberian train. And it was very easy!
Many my Polish friends and also some Russians that I met later found it strange that I went to Siberia alone. In fact, they thought I was mad :). But it was GREAT idea, the trip was marvelous.

Thanks for Jason for the company and Serghei and Olga for their warm hospitality, we had great time there and what fun!

So, after four hours flight (plus two hours in the airport) I came in early morning to Perm. Serghei ordered a taxi for me , so I left my backpacks in the hostel and without any sleep went by bus to Krasnokamsk. Those who are on FB saw maybe the photo of Jason hugging the small old lady:). Later we went to Khokhlovka, Open Air Museum. It was raining but we were so happy being together.
The main attraction there (besides the goats on the road) was this wooden village church with the domes. You can see that the structure reminds a ship.

Jason was fascinated by padlocks. Ah, these crazy photographers...
