Photographer's Note

The beautiful Rama valley is situated near Astore in Northern Pakistan. It is thickly forested with huge pine, cedar, fir and juniper trees. The valley is about 3300 meters above sea level thus snow covered for about 7-8 months of the year. In summer, it becomes lush green and an ideal place for shepherds.

From here one can trek to east side of the Nanga Parbat, world's 8th highest mountain also known as the Killer Mountain.

Darkness was about to set in when I took this picture hence selected slower shutter speed and low aperture value. I wish I could capture the picture at higher AV giving greater DOF.
