GIC
Golden Island Cottage at Inle lake.
This is the second row of bungalows.My POV is the front of my bungalow in the first row.
There are 40 of these,and when I was there only three were booked.
I met a couple from Switzerland who changed to a bungalow in the second row,because from about 5 am you can hear motoboats on the lake.

Spectacular, Andreas. I marvel at the scenes from Myanmar.
The stillness in your shot is papable. Crisp and finely composed.

Hi Leo,

I like the composition here. Breaking the rules can sometimes work so well can't it? The tiniest thing really makes this image for me and I bet most don't even notice. It is the small patch of sky in the upper right corner and it's reflection in the water. I'm not sure why but I like that bit.

Hello Andreas,

What a view. And what a pity that there are only 3 of them booked. I'm wondering why there is so little tourism. Is it low season?! In Indonesia you saw a decrease in numbers of tourists after the tsunami, some earthquakes and the Bali bombings. Really a pity, since the natural and man-made disasters already hurt the local people enough.

Spieglein, Spieglein an der Wand, welches ist die schönste Hütte hier im Land? Große Auswahl an freien Hütten, ja und mit den Motorbooten kann es laut sein. Der Wechsel mit der klaren Spiegelung und den dunstigen Bergen ist reizvoll.

I think that if I had a bungallow here with this view,it would be difficult to move!And if nobody was here,it was still nicer!The light,the colours,the reflections,the landscape all these things to have a magic impression!Wonderful!
