Photographer's Note
Todaiji's main hall, the Big Buddha Hall is the world's largest wooden building. The present reconstruction of 1692 is only two thirds of the original temple hall's size. This massive building houses one of the largest bronze statues of Buddha.
Its' surrounding is especially beautiful in spring time.

Your colors here surrounding the main hall are really just wonderful. The main hall itself is stunning, but the way you've photographed it...with the golden-yellow grounds and trees just starting to show some purple, deep pinks and a bit of soft white is really quite beautiful. Really very nicely done here.
