Photographer's Note

The 10000 Tori Gates straddle the mountain of the shrine dedicated to the Shinto God, Inari. This shrine is the head shrine to Inari and is based on a mountain of the same name in Kyoto. It takes 2 hours to walk up and there are many other smaller shrines along the way.
At night the path is lit with lights.
It is extremely congested with people over weekends.
