Amusement center in Shinjuku, a photo from Tokyo, Kanto

Photographer's Note

Kabukichō is the maximum amusement center in Japan located to east gate of Shinjuku station, Tokyo. The restaurant, bar, recreation facilities, etc. have jostled in the multi-use building at 600 meters square of abbreviation surrounded as Yasukuni steet, JR Chuō Line, Shokuan street and Meiji street. Kabukichō is counted in the leading night spots as called "sleepless town" and there is also much traffic brightly to neon. The feature has the mixture of lawfulness and illegal picking atmosphere. This photograph is taken towards the Meiji street from the crossing in Yasukuni street. Kabukichō have not changed basically in the point of rows of building and the generation of young age to visit in here even if comparing with 30-40 years ago. On other hand, the Shinjuku west entrance redevelops the former site of Yodobashi water-purifying place and a skyscraper floods and born the new city with the time.

Fine street view on winter, Mikio, fogy sky above and yet a good clarity collected.
DOF along and ccolorful signs, cars and people gave vividness to the scene.

Yet another happy street scene despite the greyish day, love how the multi colors play the greatest part to catch the eyes and the guys are good addition. It's well oriented with excellent depth and the warmer faces are obviously a feature that have really worked here for the shot, both of them draw attentions. Well managed exposure, contrast and sharpness. A fine street candid satisfying your vision, Congrats

its always a pleasure to view these street photographs from Tokyo.
For some reason, Tokyo seems like another planet :)
the way the city is constructed with all its billboards and lights, is very very different from what we have here in Canada - so its high up on my travel list :)
lots to keep my eyes interested, as i'm scanning all areas of the photo. again, alot of billboards and sign to see.

Excellent street photo. Very nice view along the busy road. You have nicely placed the young men in the foreground. The deep DOF allows to see all the details in this very good snapshot.
