Photographer's Note

Caught some optimistic villagers shelling at ebb tide on a seashore dwarfed by nature at Lewoleba Bay, Lembata Island - the activity which seems routine before sun down. Shooting ops was limitless on a hot afternoon of brilliant sunshine with a clearing sky backed by a highly active Ile Api volcano in the background partially bathed in golden glow just as the sun was dipping to the left of picture.

I find this very sweet place and a portrayal of the very simple pleasures of seaside life - the least visited island where life is so simple blessed by abundance of marine life. There's no surprise I noticed that, everyone of them had more than enough for dinner before nightfall.
