Photographer's Note

This picture was taken last month while driving to work to the nearby town.
It shows an abdoned "Dhaba."

Dhaba is a popular roadside eating joint in India and became extremly popular in the last 10-15 years. They serve tasty ethenic Indian food to the travelers on the highway. Initially created to cater to the truckers and motorists, have now become a rage in India and everyone vouches for their food.
Dhabas normally serve vegetarian food though there are now many which serve non-veg as well. The concept majorly started in Punjab is now a part of all India highways. Dhaba is a Punjabi word meaning eating joint.
