Photographer's Note

Orchha (or Urchha) is a town established in 1501, as the seat of an eponymous former princely state of central India, in the Bundelkhand region. Orchha lies on the Betwa river. The medieval city appears to have frozen in time, its palaces and temples still retaining their original grandeur and contribute to its nostalgic beauty. The word Orchha means 'hidden'.
