Early Morning in Shanghai Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is my first posting and was taken at the Bund in Shanghai as people got their morning routines in. The background shows the Pearl Tower which is one of the landmarks of Shanghai. I was also trying to incorporate the sun into the shot (hence the bright area) eventually I wll get a filter and experiment.

Hi Cody,
Welcome to Trek Earth. This is a great start and has the potential to be a great shot.
First thing though is that you should post bigger pictures. You have 800 pixels to work with, so you may as well use them. Not only will this allow for better viewing, but it will make it easier for others to edit your work and give you suggestions.
For this shot, I think it's a great composition, though I'm wondering if the horizon should be straighter. At the same time, I like the effect of it being a little off and might be a little boring if everything was straight. It could work both ways.
