Photographer's Note

An early evening around dinner time in bustling Kashgar congregated by the Uyghur, when the side street was transformed into many makeshift 'street restaurants' filled with pots, pans and small stools all laid out on the pavement. The woman you see here was doing a fine business I observed, with her mutton porridge which seemed a popular dish and always ever ready to serve the hungry customers some of whom had
already enjoyed their meals.

I'm not sure if there's too much going on in the image - there's lots to see I guess with the main characters, expression and body language is quite obvious. This is just a quick snap and honest moment even though there are far too many variables that can go wrong. But I truly enjoy watching people, observe and not only capturing the brief snapshot of their lives but also I get a great point of view which gives me a tremendous gift as it happens before my eyes.

Totally a different facets of everyday life and cultural experience, despite its technical imperfection that cause many of you to frown....

It kind of sums the place up for me.
