Photographer's Note

Pristine and lush Paro Valley is what usually call " The Switzerland of Asia ". It follows the road between Paro village and Thimpu , the capital...Indeed there were pretty spots or perspectives to discover and photograph almost after every curve, but the big problem was to stop our van. Usually when photographers travel with groups - and in Bhutan I am not sure that there are other ways to travel - they must convince people that the scenery is good enough for asking the driver to stop for a while. It's quite a difficult job, and sometimes even " not so keen " photographers may get angry. When asking to stop the vehicle more than once one must take a part of responsability, because I already hear silly questions such as " Why do we stop here again ? ": So better be sure if you ask !
