Photographer's Note
Taken with my phone.
Somewhere over the rainbow there is a bridge over troubled water. Or more accurately drowned by it. To the left you can barely see Victoria Falls through all the smoke and to the right you can see the cliff of the huge river canyon formed by the Zambezi River. From the Zambian side it's possible to reach this wet island, named after David Livingstone, that rise from the bottom of the canyon. It is right in front of the gorgeous falls. BUT! The only access to the island is this bridge which is certain to be a wet experience. The cloud formed by the falls could be seen from far away.
I was running across it with my waterproof phone and managed to snap this photo quickly. You can clearly see the waterdrops and maybe also the "river" on the bridge. Yes, it was wet.
I also did a lot more interesting things in Zambia than visiting the falls. But I only had my phone and I mostly enjoyed camera free days visiting a family, a school and attended a church service in the Kanyama compound before joining the family at a reptile park and the school's visit to Mundawanga Zoo.
The story behind all this is quite a special one. The school was established for orphans and children whose parents couldn't afford the education. It now has almost 100 pupils and runs almost entirely on money from the project started by my friends. About $15 is enough to secure education for one child for one month. The Samzam Project. Maybe I will come back to that later with some pictures. This ends my African journey for now. My thoughts are already in Colombia and Ecuador where I am going in 11 days.

Hej Frederik,
does your photo mean that you were able to see a full circle rainbow while running this bridge? According to the local situation as I assume, this might have been possible?
Mange hilsner, og tak for billedet.

Hi Fredrike, You took it at a perfect timing and i like very much how the rainbow is intersecting the bridge. The foggy atmosphere also adds to the interest. Beautiful colors. Thank for sharing

You conveyed the "wet experience" very well in this image - water is everywhere, everything is wet. It's a very beautiful photo with the little rainbow.
How nice of you and your friends to support this project to help the local people!
Kasia
Ps. My "points" are back... I'm sure that most reasonable TE members don't care about those green smiling faces, but it just annoys me when things don't work the way they're meant to!
