Photographer's Note

Going back into the archives here. With all the cold weather lately, i wanted to remind myself of some warmer days.

This photo was taken just outside of the capital of Tunis, in a city called Carthage. One of the oldest cities in the world. Although not specifically defined, it is said to have been founded in 814 BC.
Carthage became a rich and powerful city, and a stronghold along the Mediterranean.

Its history is endless. Carthage has raged war with the Roman empire several times, Carthage was destroyed by the Romans after the Third Punic War in 146 BC.

There are many ruins and ampitheatres to see in Tunisa, but i wanted to display a softer warmer side today, with housing construction in a upper class area with Ocean Views - A place where i'd like to be today, instead of having to drive to work in this cold.

hope you enjoy this view.
have a great week
