The more north you come in Togo the more arid the landscape is.
This is a spot north of Kara some 600 km from the coast.

Hello Gerrit,
The solitary tree is well placed and helps create a wonderful sense of depth as we look out over this arid landscape towards the distant mountains. The purplish sky and heat haze suggest a very hot day. Thanks for sharing.

The compo is pleasant with natural warm colours and this tree to anchor the shot in the FG. The uniform sky has nice subtle gradation.
A small spot, probably dust on the sensor, but that is easy to remove!
