Photographer's Note

Kruger Park forms one of the largest protected areas in Africa, the size of Whales.

Although I'm not usually into animal photography, I can't explain the kick and excitement you get from driving around this humongous natural reserve on your own, rarely encountering another vehicle.

But one thing you will encounter though, if you are lucky enough, is numerous elephants, hippopotamus, buffalos, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, lions and more than 140 other mammals species.

These white rhinos were not the only ones we've met along our journey, as I have some tight close-ups of others that were only a few meters from our car, ready to rumble, if only they had a better vision.
