Photographer's Note

After crossing Atlantic Ocean I was reaching Africa. Here we can see the seashore of Príncipe Island. São Tomé & Príncipe is the smaller country where Portuguese is the mother language.
These islands had no inhabitants when Portuguese navigators discovered them in 1470. After it became a center for transportation of slaves and a producer of sugar and cacao. Nowadays the country has tourism and fishing as important sources of income. The whole country has around 200,000 inhabitants.
