Photographer's Note

As the sun was setting in the west over the beach in Dzamandzar, Nosy Be, some local boys were having fun playing football.

Although Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world, yet its own largest island, Nosy Be, is only about 30 miles across. Nosy Be does, however, have its own Lokobe Nature Reserve in the east and is home to a great variety of wildlife including the black lemur, a picture of which I have posted on TN.

Taken some time ago with my trusty OM1N, this picture is not quite as sharp as I should have liked but it brings back to me the atmosphere of that evening.
