Photographer's Note

A morning scene in a Fula village, not far from the border with Senegal, a little goat was resting between two mortars and also a pestle lying on the ground. These objects are used to to husk and dehull grain and they can be seen in every African village. In background, we can see a traditional house. The Fulas or Peuls, are one of the largest migratory ethnic groups in the world and they are spread over many African countries, such as Senegal. It was a great experience to visit many of their villages and contact with them, as they are really nice and usually welcome visitors really well.
