Great holmertz 2019-10-12 12:36

Hello György,
He is obviously a good photographer (and so are you). This is a fine photo of a fine photo, with the two persons watching the birds almost like in real life in the Miskolc square. I had to look this guy up on the net to find out more. His photos are fantastic, but some I saw looked totally strange, almost surrealistic, like a dozen bright birds together feeding their newly hatched chicks on a meadow with a horse grazing in the background, roughly. I don't quite understand them.
Best regards,

Dear Gert!

Some of his photos are made up in a sense that he imagines them and plans their details in advance (the position of the animals, the flash-systems etc) and goes to places, where he has good chances to make the shot created in his mind: a lot of his lurking-places offer food or water for animals, so they will return regularly. Some of his ideas will never happen in nature, when you just wait and photograph what comes to you, as a friend of mine (who is biologist/ethologist by profession) highlighted. He is not only a wildlife photographer, but a kind of artist with a very vivid imagination.

Best Wishes,

PS: Thank you for your compliments!
