Great mkamionka 2019-08-23 2:11

Hi Jorge,
you title made me laugh! Indeed in some dialects they pronounce u like o.
I remember a lady talking to her child in the local park: "let's go we are going to feed the dogs" I thought it was strange to hear that someone intends to feed dogs in the park. But after she repeated it over and over and I thought about it longer I realized that she meant not dogs but ducks. But she pronounced it very much as dogs.
Nice street scene, and the couple adds a romantic touch.
As always I am going to express my sympathies regarding the dark weather, but I am glad it didn't discourage you from recording a fantastic reportage,
Very well done,

I learned my english in the american method and for me it is difficult understand british and almost impossible (aussies and people from NZ).

the word (water) in british sounds very different of they way it is expressed in american way. haha.
I am surprised you, living in the island, didn't know all these differences yet. I imagine there are more different accents in UK than we can imagine.

take care
